Come revel in this year's theme of "PrinceTunes" and celebrate the joy of music with good food and the cheerful company of fellow alumni during Reunions 2010, May 27-30. If you are wondering what sorts of things are happening on Campus during Reunions Weekend and if you could possibly keep busy enough, then be sure to check out the list below of APGA's events as well as a few of the other general activities that are taking place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Note that a complete list of all general activities will be included in your packet when you register or check-in on Campus. The "APGA PrinceTunes Weekend" party begins with an opening reception Friday evening in the APGA tent next to Whig Hall. Have lunch and be entertained on Saturday before marching in the P-RADE and then cool off at the "Tribute to Teaching" reception in the Ichan Atrium before dinner with mystery guests in the APGA tent. Community Service Opportunities during APGA Reunions

APGA Community Service Opportunities are listed below (to register online, see the Event Registration link above).

APGA Community Service Project 1:
The APGA will be collecting new and gently used musical instruments during Reunions to donate to schools in New Jersey.  Every kid needs to be exposed to music and while we know it will take your time, effort and generosity - we are asking you to please check your attic, your closets and your basement and plan to bring any instruments that you no longer use or are willing to donate with you to Reunions! This effort will certainly make the difference in the lives of many students. If you can't carry a tuba on the plane with you, we are also happy to take monetary donations! Please drop off your instruments and donations at the APGA Headquarters in Whig Hall for Reunions. For further info, email apga@princeton.edu.

APGA Community Service Project 2:
The APGA's annual Community Action event will be held on Sunday, May 30th, 2010 from 10 am - 2 pm. We will meet at the Woodrow Wilson School and drive to Trenton, just a short trip from Princeton. We will be working with the Trenton Rescue Mission. The Rescue Mission offers shelter, treatment and vocational programs to those in need of second chances and even third chances.  The belief in the intrinsic worth of each individual continues to motivate the Rescue Mission of Trenton to provide the highest quality care and to offer support, encouragement, and a sense of dignity to all who enter through its doors. We will be working to help improve the shelter (painting bed frames, working in the store) and meeting with the residents to understand the value of the Mission to people that have nowhere else to turn. Learn more at: http://www.rescuemissionoftrenton.org/. For further info, email tdemello@alumni.princeton.edu.
